Major Dallas North Tollway Closures Scheduled at Parker Road Jan. 23-24
North- and southbound DNT main lanes near Parker Road will be closed at the following dates and times:
10 p.m.-midnight, Saturday, Jan. 23
Two north- and southbound DNT left main lanes from Parker Road to Windhaven Parkway closed.
12-5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24
All main lanes of north- and southbound DNT Parker Road to Windhaven Parkway closed.
Detour for northbound DNT traffic: Motorists traveling on northbound DNT will take the exit ramp to Parker Road and continue north on the frontage road. Motorists will be able to reenter DNT using the entrance ramp just north of Parker Road.
Detour for southbound traffic: Motorists traveling on southbound DNT will take the exit ramp to Parker Road and continue south on the frontage road. Motorists will be able to reenter the DNT using the entrance ramp just south of Parker Road.
This closure is needed for construction crews to remove the overhead sign bridge just north of Parker Road safely.
Changeable message signs have been placed in the area to notify drivers. Law enforcement officers will be present to assist with traffic control.
All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area and be aware of potential traffic delays. NTTA appreciates the public's patience during the ongoing construction.
