Tuesday, March 3

The DNT improvements from PGBT to I-635 include:

●   Restriping, pavement surface overlay and the relocation of existing light poles from the center

median barrier to the outside shoulders between I-635 and the Bush Turnpike

●   Restriping to add a fourth lane on southbound DNT from the Bush Turnpike to the Belt Line Road exit and restriping to extend the existing fourth lane on northbound DNT from the Trinity Mills Road exit to the Bush Turnpike exit

NTTA staff will be available to answer questions about the planned improvements. Detailed maps will be on display at the meetings.

Mobile traffic and travel apps for you:

What apps keep you moving?

Customers often ask us about where or how to find traffic information to plan their trips on NTTA's toll roads, so we assembled a list* of popular travel mobile apps, websites and other tools that may help you before you hit the road.

We also would like to hear from you about the mobile apps you currently use for your drive. Your feedback will help us add new options to NTTA's Tollmate mobile app and find other resources to provide timely and accurate traffic information. Please take our very brief survey today.

Two Steps, One Sticker: Vehicle registration and inspection stickers are partnering up in Texas

Beginning March 1, the state of Texas will stop issuing vehicle inspection stickers and change to a "Two Steps, One Sicker" inspection and registration program. Under the new system, Texas vehicle owners will need to pass inspection prior to renewing their registration. The familiar blue-bordered registration sticker will serve as proof of both inspection and registration. Learn more here.
