UPDATE: Interstate 30 closes overnight Oct. 11
Lanes will be closed in both directions of Interstate 30 in downtown Fort Worth overnight on Saturday, Oct. 11 so construction crews can pour the bridge decks for the westbound I-30 to southbound CTP connector. Closure details and suggested detours are listed below (click here for map):
Closure: All lanes of east- and westbound I-30 from Summit Avenue to University Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, through 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.
Eastbound detour: Motorists will take the Summit Avenue/Cherry Street/Lancaster Avenue/8th Avenue exit and continue on the ramp toward Cherry Street/Lancaster Avenue. Police will direct traffic back onto eastbound I-30 via the CTP to I-30 entrance ramp near Summit Avenue.
Westbound detour: Motorists will be directed to exit at Summit Avenue and then continue on the westbound I-30 frontage road. Motorists will be able to reenter I-30 after Forest Park Boulevard.
All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed if necessary.
