Top 5 Wearable Fall Trends
Fall has officially begun!
What does that mean in the fashion world?
Darker colors, richer fabrics, layering and everybody's favorites, boots!

While I adore the lingerie inspired garments, thigh high boots and super high slits in this seasons dresses and skirts, those particular trends may not be for the masses.

Here are my top 5 most wearable fall trends:
1. Plaid- not so much Holiday time plaid but more so a nodd to the 90's grunge plaid incorporations

2. Leather- always a staple but done in different ways. Leather is not just for jackets this season and comes in an array of colors.

3. Neutral Colorblocking- color blocking for spring and summer consisted of pastels and brights. Fall is bringing all of your neutrals together to join the color blocking fun!

4. Army Green- Masculine color and structure with feminie twists

5. belted jackets- It's like an outfit in itself!

All of these looks are from the F/W 2013 runways, used as examples to inspire you to incorporate these trends into your own wardrobes.

Swap Time!!

The 2nd annual Boston Fashion Week Style Swap is only 1 month away!

It's the savviest shopping experience to hit Boston Fashion Week yet! Trust in Tricia is rolling out the red carpet for this one! We are bringing the Style Swap directly to Fashion Week and we are not sure if we are more excited to see what fashionistas will be wearing to this event, or what they will be swapping!!

If you haven't been to one of our Style Swap's before then you definitely won't want to miss this!  See pics from past Style Swaps

The idea: to clean out your closet and trade in your previously loved and oh so gently worn items in for pieces that are new-to-you!

The cause: this event is benefit and raise awareness for Project Hope

The location: the amazing Julep Bar in Boston

The rules: ALL clothing, shoes, accessories and handbags swapped must be in like new condition, free of stains, holes, rips, etc. Undergarments, pajamas and bathing suits will not be accepted. The leftover clothing will be donated to Project Hope's women in need so they have clothing to wear to work and job interviews. So if you wouldn't wear it to work, these ladies cant either so those items will not be considered swappable. The max number of items allowed into the swap is 25. No more than 25 items per person will be accepted!

The timeline: Clothing drop off: 5:30-7:00

Shop vendor tables, enjoy cocktails and appetizers, network with fellow fashionistas: 5:30-8:00

                     Swap Boutique opens: 8:00ish
