My Favorite Summer Trends

Summer fashion is all about cool, easy breezy styles to wear without putting too much thought into it. Let's face it, us New Englanders are limited on our sunny summer days so we need to make the most of them. (And standing in front of our closets for 30 minutes trying to put an outfit together is not the way to spend them!)

Here are the summer trends that I cant wait to rock:

1. Embellished sandals

An easy way to add your ensembles pop of color or bling to dress up an outfit without the heels

2.Vests

I am especially loving denim vests over a girlie maxi dress

2. Anchors

The quintessential summertime nautical theme is pooping up in jewelry or in abstract oversized versions on statement tees and tanks

3. Tie Dye

Tie Dye is back in neutrals for an updated summer contrast

4. Fringe

We're seeing carefree fringe on clothing and accessories for the season- from belts and bags to maxi dresses and bikinis

OUT OF THE CLOSET TRENDS

I am surely no makeup guru but lately I have been loving using my makeup as my pop of color, specifically on my lips and nails (and no, they do not have to match each other!)

My shades of choice are pink and coral- the warm colors of the season. And they are available in soft and neon hues, from colored mascara, to eyeliner and lipstick.
