Your Skin-
Between You and the World
Dr. Steppie explains that his story of exploration concerning skin care actually traces its roots back thousands of years - back to the ancient practices of experimenting with the protective powers of botanical herbs and flowers. His research has been aided by unearthing a history of trial and error, stretching from protective skin baths of grapes, berries and olive oil in ancient Greece and Rome; to the power of leaves and green tea administered in China; to healing antioxidants discovered by the Mayans in coconut oil, fruits and plants. Dr. Steppie believes that the combination of these ingredients and the fact that even through the extraction process chemicals are not used, will provide a powerhouse of antioxidants that help reverse the signs of skin aging plus protect against carcinogens in the environment. Antioxidants have been shown to help reduce the signs of intrinsic (natural) aging, while restoring skin and protecting from extrinsic (environmental) aging. |
