Over The Rainbow - Oct 5th - WC/Sholem 
THIS Saturday, October 5, 2013,
we will honor the outstanding musical legacy of Yip Harburg, and the remarkable and influential social justice work of David Finkel, Bruria Finkel, and Jackie Goldberg. 
 
****Important Update: To everyone who will be in attendance, please note that the event is being held in a garden in Santa Monica.  
Please be mindful of bringing layers, including a coat and scarf (just in case).  We want to insure everyone is comfortable during the concert!
 
Thank you to everyone who has helped us create this celebratory evening of awards and music to support the Sholem Community and the Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring Southern California Region.

Thanks to your attendance, her Conversational Yiddish group is thriving with world-recognized Yiddish teacher, scholar, translator and raconteuse Hadasa Cytrynowicz. 

  

Originally from Lodz, and later a long-time resident of Brazil, Hadasa brings a wealth of experience and stories, songs, proverbs and sayings, poetry and interesting topics for discussion to her group. Each session is an hour and 15 minutes.  Admission is by voluntary donation.

  

Keep your Yiddish kite flying by attending this group! All levels of Yiddish are welcome. Kumt arayn!
