All About the Yiddish Conference in Pittsburgh
|
Pittsburgh, PA | April 26-29, 2013
The heart and soul of Yiddish activities occurs when we get together. In clubs, conferences, classes, or concerts.
One of the most successful and rewarding experiences for Fishl has been the 14 previous Yiddish Club Conferences. The upcoming one in Pittsburgh, PA will have some unusual innovations which will make it the best ever. One of them is the midnight Yiddish in Slippers: A Dream Sequence. Another one will be a real, live wedding performed Saturday night.

Map your Jewish Environmental Initiative
|
The Green Hevra is creating a map of Jewish environmental initiatives in North America. Whether you are a national organization dedicated entirely to this work, or a local Jewish institution with environment as one of its many issues; Whether you are a synagogue with a new garden/CSA, or a summer camp with a green team; Whether you are an online earth-based community of practice or involved in leadership development and capacity building - we want you all on the map!
-----
What is the Green Hevra? The Green Hevre is a network of U.S.-based leaders of national and regional Jewish environmental organizations fostering growth through sharing strategic knowledge with partner organizations and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
