LETTER FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR!

Office Closed Mon., May 30.

May 25, 2011

All events at Arbeter Ring Los Angeles unless otherwise stated.

From our National Office

Dear Friend of The Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring:

A momentous policy speech by President Obama yesterday [5/19/11] called for Israel's borders to follow 1967 lines to guide peace negotiations.

The Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring applauds President Obama's initiative to achieve a fair and balanced resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian disputes and calls for all progressive Jewish organizations to support his efforts.

As always, please share your thoughts and comments with us on Facebook or write to me at atoback@circle.org

In friendship,

Ann Toback

Executive Director

Hadasa is a hit! Thanks to your attendance, her Conversational Yiddish group is thriving. We've gotten people's Yiddish speaking muscles flexing with world-recognized Yiddish teacher, scholar, translator and raconteuse

Hadasa Cytrynowicz. Originally from Lodz, and later a long-time resident of Brazil, Hadasa brings a wealth of experience and stories, songs, proverbs and sayings, poetry and interesting topics for discussion to her group. Each session is an hour and 15 minutes

.

Admission is by voluntary donation.

Keep your Yiddish kite flying by attending this group! All levels of Yiddish are welcome.

Kumt arayn!  Far vos nisht?
