Hadasa is a hit! Thanks to your attendance, her Conversational Yiddish group is thriving. We've gotten people's Yiddish speaking muscles flexing with world-
recognized Yiddish teacher, scholar, translator and raconteuse Hadasa Cytrynowicz. Originally from Lodz, and later a long-time resident of Brazil, Hadasa brings a wealth of experience and stories, songs, proverbs and sayings, poetry and interesting topics for discussion to her group. Each session is an hour and 15 minutes. Admission is by voluntary donation.

| We are an affiliate organization of the California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA). Their national organization (Alliance for Retired Americans) recommends the following:
Voice your opinion by participating in the "Hands off Social Security" national call-in. On Wednesday, March 30th, retiree activists from all over the country are asked to call their U.S. Senators to make sure they know retirees will not stand by and watch as the Senate tries to reduce or weaken Social Security. Dial 1-866-251-4044 and say, "Hands off Social Security! Vote YES on the Sanders-Reid Social Security Protection Amendment!"

Help guide a progressive, secular Jewish organization
in its second century!
Director (half-time to start) is sought by the Southern California Arbeter Ring/Workmen's Circle, organizing for social justice and Jewish, especially Yiddish, culture for over a century. Successful applicant will have the backing and support of an active governing committee in developing programming and fundraising.
Neither Jewish background nor Yiddish knowledge required, though welcomed.
The Director will coordinate existing programs and help to develop new ones, supervise rental and maintenance of our building, among other managing duties.
