Council for Quality Growth Co-Hosts First Ever Fulton State of the County Address with the North Fulton Chamber and South Fulton Chamber
The Council for Quality Growth partnered with the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce to co-host the first ever Fulton State of the County Address on Thursday, April 30.

Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves addressed nearly 300 guests at the event, where he spoke on a variety of issues such as county government efficiency, bipartisanship between the county's Democratic and Republican commissioners, and constituent services. Chairman Eaves assured attendees that the commission is united in its commitment to improving public safety, health care, and senior services.

Chairman Eaves highlighted some of the commissions' 2015 successes thus far, including an agreement on a multi-million dollar general fund budget, the hiring of successful businessman Dick Anderson as county manager and the election of bipartisan leadership within the commission.

Chairman Eaves also voiced support of a one-cent transportation sales tax, which Fulton County voters rejected three years ago. He also highlighted the county's goal of reducing county spending by $100 million throughout the next decade, stating that both Republicans and Democrats want a more efficient government.

Council Board Member North Futon CID Executive Director Ann Hanlon Publishes Op-Ed in AJC: Transit Options Help Feed Boom

Like all Community Improvement Districts in Metro Atlanta, the North Fulton CID prides itself on being a catalyst for change.

And like all CIDs in this region, we have supported our market through the ebbs and flows of the recent economy - using that precious time during the economic downturn to build projects and make plans for when the boom started back.

And in North Fulton, the boom is back.

The last few quarters have yielded so many success stories for the North Fulton market, including announcements for corporate expansions and relocations from Mercedes-Benz, State Farm, FiServ, Halyard Health, and Comcast to name a few. Ours is a thriving market with an educated workforce and good leadership.
