Today's youth are volunteering more than ever before. Middle school students looking to volunteer often find it challenging to locate meaningful community service opportunities available for their age group.
BJE is launching "Sulam Summer Service Corps," a 10 day structured program for students entering 7th and 8th grades. Participants will engage in direct, "hands-on" volunteer opportunities in the Los Angeles area. This volunteer work will take place in the context of Jewish reflection and fun summer activities.
Participants will receive a certification of completion of community service hours at the close of their Sulam Summer Service Corps experience.
Session 1: Monday, July 11 - Friday, July 22
Session 2: Monday, July 25 - Friday, Aug 5
