My favorite Houzz writer, Becky Harris, selected this project for Kitchen of the Week this week. It has generated hundreds of comments and some strong emotion, mostly related to the broken dish mosaic backsplash featuring Grandma's china. Most love it, but some are worried about cleaning it or resale, or find it too busy. My client's 10 year old son commented "They just say that because they don't really know anything about this house, Mom".

Every one of my projects starts with my client's preferences and requirements. I'm so grateful for this adventurous client who revels in color, pattern and whimsy!
