Introducing my new website
project of the summer

PROBLEM:
Although I still got many compliments on my original website, I felt it could be less cluttered and easier to navigate. The images were too small.

SOLUTION:
Way bigger images. Sliding bar navigation.  Cleaner background. More written information.  Still lots of color! Fresh new colors on my logo as you see here in the newsletter.

Thanks to the awesome web guru Mary Echevarria at Loom Web Design, Chryssa Saj for original logo and color makeover, Pete Cuffari for tech advice, Jack Cuffari, Julia Conti and Amy Plotch for editing.

In Praise of Happy Color: Lilly Pulitzer (1931 - 2013)

"Where it all began: Lilly Pulitzer in the original shop in Palm Beach, circa 1961. Lilly Pulitzer made using a mix of bright colors acceptable and, as a result of her influence, chic."

Know what's in your makeup

"Think Dirty" is a free app for iPhones that helps to decipher and learn about the potentially toxic ingredients in your cosmetics and personal care products. It's an independent source that allows you to compare products as you shop. Just scan the product barcode and Think Dirty will give you easy-to-understand info on the product, its ingredients, and cleaner options.

Get it from iTunes. If you use it, let me know what you think!
