Lovely Little Library design ~
project of the month
PROBLEM:
The 108 square foot home office and library felt cramped and disorganized. A flip down wall shelf wasn't doing it for a work surface. Not all the clients' book collection could be displayed.
SOLUTION:
Full height custom built-in bookcases by Fine Custom Carpentry use every square inch to organize books and objects. A small desk provides ample surface for a laptop. And there's room for 2 comfy chairs and an ottoman for relaxed reading.
See before and after pix here.

Inspiration ~
Tziporah Salamon: impeccably elegant fashionista
 | Riding around the city on her turquoise Bianchi, often a symphony of lush colors, decked head-to-toe in exquisite, embroidered, antique fabrics. I love her thoughtful and exuberant commitment to style.

Mindful Living & Green Design ~
GREEN your Red, White & Blue This July 4th (and really every holiday and when you're entertaining) plan to reduce your waste. - Make it easy for your guests to keep track of their drink. Provide a sharpie for everyone to "name" their cup. I've been doing this for years (and reusing that same sign).
- Provide clearly marked recycling containers for bottles and plastic.
- Consider reusable tableware or buy recycled content and recyclable or compostable products.
Let your mantra be Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! Wishing everyone a fun and safe Independence Day!
