Hall bathroom design - before
Before the remodeling, this bathroom had 3 doors, a small shower, no tub.  The toilet and sink were in front of the windows.

I love Jonathan Adler's exuberant whimsy and wit. His design company is "dedicated to bringing style, craft and joy to your life" with "impeccable craftsmanship and irreverent luxury".  The firm's interior design projects include "groovy pads, modern mansions, glamorous boutiques and the over-the-top majesty (can we say that about our own work? Why not!) of the Parker Palm Springs Hotel."

Mindful Living & Green Design ~
Technology & Mindfulness in the age of distraction

Excellent reminder from Remodelista recently to unplug and slow down.  Some of the nuggets:
  • "If it keeps up, man will atrophy all his limbs but the push-button finger."  Frank Lloyd Wright
  • Remember to relax your body & breathe
  • Monitor your time so you don't fritter it away
  • Take regular tech breaks
  • Do one thing at a time. Research has shown we are not well-suited for multi-tasking.
  • Be fully engaged in whatever you are doing. "We never live," Voltaire famously lamented, "we live in anticipation of living."
