Automated Red Cell Donations
Automated Red Cell Donations
Animating AUTO RED

TimeSteps is no stranger to animation. But this time we stretched ourselves to commuicate an entire informational message without narration. Yes, music and pictures only.

TimeSteps  conceptualized a two minute animated video to tell the story of a new high tech way to donate blood:  the automated red cell way.

Through the use an irresistably catchy tune and charming characters, blood donors are encouraged to donate using this new technology because they can save two lives with one donation.

But click the picture for yourself and see what it's all about.  Produced by the award-winning TimeSteps team: Marilyn Petrokubi, Rob Lieberman and Editor, David Bruce.

Shades of Grey
Don't get excited, I'm not talking about
50 Shades of Grey (which has its own merits.) This is a very different book with a similar title that will arouse the sensibilities of readers who enjoy the writing of Douglas Adams and Kurt Vonnegut.

Jasper Fforde (two ffs like a violin)  transports us to a future world "After the Something that Happened" where everyone is color blind and a caste system is established whereby those in held in highest regard are those who can perceive the highest colors of the spectrum. Purple perceivers are arrogant aristocrats, while the Greys are destined for a life of servitude and discrimination.  It's a wacky world where the rules are as insane as the characters who wield them.  And alas, the libraries have more librarians than books.

It's a hilarious mystery with a good chuckle on every page. Check it out.
