February at YTC holds Seasonal Court renewals, USTA Summer Adult League registrations, and 12-week junior program renewals and registrations. We are working hard to ensure everyone has the opportunity to register for anything they desire.

Snow Updates

Cancellations & make-ups

In cases of inclement weather during this very snowy winter, we have made every effort to make the right decision on opening/closing, with the safety of our customers and staff remaining a priority.

End dates for Seasonal Courts and Adult & Junior Clinics that have been cancelled due to snow will be extended at the end of the season. You can find your new end dates on the respective pages.

Tales of our Tennis Club

Shared across the country

Our club has been a model noted by the USTA for tennis instruction and the business of tennis.

To that end, Simon Gale just returned last week from the USTA Southern California annual convention, where he presented to over 150 USPTA professionals on how to run their tennis programs. This is one of many conferences Simon has been asked to present at.

Says Simon, "I love sharing our story, and it is an honor to be able to say that our club is one of the leading providers in the country!"

10 years of research paid off

Babolat debuts the first connected racquet -- the Babolat Play Pure Drive. This racquet has sensors integrated into the handle, providing feedback on the user's play.

Demo coming to YTC soon!

Another 10 & Under Demo

BNP Paribas at MSG

Yet again, we've been asked to help run a demo of 10 and Under Tennis at Madison Square Garden! Simon and two of our pros will be attending.

Last year it was for the Powershares Series.

On March 3rd, it will take place before the BNP Paribas Showdown. After the demo, it will be Djokovic vs. Murray and the Bryan brothers vs. the McEnroe brothers. Tickets here.

Seasonal Court Renewals

Deadline: February 28th

So far, it has been a great indoor season with the best customers tennis has to offer!

February is here, which means Seasonal Court Renewals have begun.

Forms & information can be found here or at the front desk.
After February 28th, any courts not renewed are released and considered "for sale".

Tournament Winners

2 YTC players take home the trophy

Yet again, it was our YTC players who took home trophies in our most recent 14 & Under Yellow Ball Tournament.

Michael Bleifuss (age 13, left) won the tournament and Julien Mermelstein (13) was the finalist. Both boys have been playing at YTC for quite a few years and have shown a great deal of improvement over that time!

We are proud of both of you. Keep up the hard work!
