News from DC Access

December 2012

Greetings!

We moved! And for the first time in 10 years, since we started our business, we have real office space!

We have purchased a building at 1504 Pennsylvania Ave SE and we couldn't be happier. The three-floored building consists of two units, one of which will be rented to a local resident or business. The new building will allow us to expand our coverage for new customers and neighborhoods, and to provide better service to our existing customers. Additionally, it will provide real office space for our current (and future) employees, room to store our equipment and continue to build the Capitol Hill small business community by providing meeting space for rental.

To support our growth and move to this new building we have created an Indiegogo campaign. We have decided to appeal to the community because soon after we started our business it was clear to us that we don't have merely customers and neighbors. We are part of a larger, caring community of local businesses and residents who have become supporting fans. We understand the benefits of shared prosperity and it is an integral part of the way we do business.

Check out the campaign, video, and help us spread the word!

What Drives Us to Offer You Better Service

Last month, a segment from Newshour caught our attention and reminded us of one of the motivations that drove us to become a wireless Internet service provider. The segment,"How Fine Print on Your Bills Helps Big Companies in Taking More of Your Money", dives into the "non-obvious" charges on your credit card and utilities bills. The fine print of additional, and mostly hidden, charges continues to grow. However, those tiny fees have nothing to do with providing a better service, but more with generating additional "profits that do not reflect market competition".

At DC Access our commitment is to offer our customers clear pricing packages and bills they can understand and trust. If you have any questions with your bill, Internet speed or service, please email or call 202-546-5898

Online Payment

Do you pay online? Verify you are filling your name (the name on the account) when you pay online so that we can trace payment back to you. Please make sure you don't leave it blank.

If you have additional questions about online payment email or call 202-546-5898

Meeting Space and Office Space for Rent

At our new office building, we have added enough space to offer meeting space for rent by the hour. This is a great solution for small businesses who need short-term work or brainstorming space.

For more information on the meeting space email or call (202-546-5898)

We also have Capitol Hill office space for sublet.  On Pennsylvania one block from Potomac Ave metro.  Two individual offices (100 sf at $350, 150sf at $500), or a full private suite of 670 sf for $1,800.

Call James Rea, Long & Foster Commercial, at 202-288-5059.
