Dear MS Families,

We've turned our attention from this week's science fair to Pesach next week -- things are always hopping in the Middle School!

Please read on for the latest Middle School news and information on upcoming events.

I would also like to share with you this D'var Torah from Rabbi David Saltzman, Elementary School principal.

Science Fair

Congratulations to all of the students on their successful Science Fair! It was a pleasure to see how their hard work paid off, and to learn about the many and varied topics they had all studied.

Please take a look at the many other Science Fair pictures on our Phanfare page!

Seventh Grade World Languages Assembly
It's that time of year again! The Maimonides seventh-grade students are now considering their world language options for 2015-16.  The students will watch a presentation on the two available languages, Spanish and Arabic, during lunch on Tuesday, March 31. Please see this letter from Mr. Ryan, department head, for an explanation of how the process works.

Pre-Pesach Car Cleaning

Pesach is right around the corner! And, as we all know, with Pesach comes lots of cleaning.

This year, the Maimonides seniors are organizing a car cleaning service to help you out. On Sunday, March 29, from 10:00-4:00, you can drop off your car in the Saval parking lot and the seniors will thoroughly vacuum out your entire car and clear away any trash. (This is an interior-only cleaning and does not involve washing the exterior of your car.)

They guarantee a more than Pesach-worthy cleaning for just
$20! All profits will go to the Class of '15.

Email the Grade Reps to ensure a time at srgradereps2015@gmail.com.  Walk-ins are welcome too!

The Class of 2015 greatly appreciates your support!

Taam China Mondays

The popular eighth-grade-run Chinese lunch program continues on March 30! The eighth graders are looking forward to serving lunches to the students who have ordered food from them.

Please note that there will be no newsletter next week.
