All creatures here on the farm are still celebrating the gift of rain last week.  We actually have a luscious green lawn again, at least for the time being.  We often tell visitors we don't feed the plants, we feed the soil, which in turn of course, feeds us.  Even the industrious earthworms are happy with the clean fresh water.  We still have a couple of hundred gallons left that we collected.  Perhaps the nectarines would like an extra dose today.

Your herbs for this week are either fresh rosemary, good on the barbeque, salad dressings, or to place in the oven for aroma when cooking something else or the magical French sorrel.  French sorrel is the bunch of green leaves that has a fresh tangy, lemony taste.  It's nice in salads, chopped, stirred into warm potatoes and so much more.  Just remember not to use in an aluminum container as it will cause it to discolor.
