Dear Friends, 

     Thank you so much to you wonderful people that did the Dance for Rain!  It wasn't a 'soaker', but definitely enough to saturate the soil and give everything a nice drink of water.  When the sun peaks through today, I suspect we'll have even more flowers blooming then the last couple of weeks.  Sweet peas, stock, feverfew, calendulas, Peruvian lilies, snapdragons, Callas lilies, King Alfred daffodils and more.  They're the first on stage for the opening of the curtain for the extravaganza called Spring.  We always welcome our customers to come and 'see' the farm, especially over the next couple of months.  Just give us a quick call or email to set and time and see the beautiful food and flowers.

      I think by now, just about everyone has heard of the health benefits of kale.  You all have been sent Napa cabbage the last couple of deliveries and this is the last week for them.  Thank you for the notes on how good it has been.    We will be harvesting spring kale for the next three weeks, so here are some of our favorite tried and true recipes:
