Dear Friends,
We're plowing through our massive weeding job (by hand), the legacy of the much appreciated rain we had a few weeks ago and making progress. We can tell daily of the moisture being lost and have our eyes on the sky (and weather forecasting) hoping for rain. We generally have a rain about the end of November, not so much in December and then fairly good chances of a few storms until March. If any of you can 'do' rain dances, now is time.
If you've ever eaten from a Chinese food restaurant, you've probably had Napa cabbage. We have a beautiful crop coming in for the next two weeks and I'm hoping you'll be as happy to enjoy it as we have been in our house. I've tried many of these recipes and find them delicious. If you have recipes you particularly like, I'll be happy to pass them on.
We now have a 'tab' on www.seabreezeorganicfarm.org to purchase a share that goes directly for local military families. Those of you that can, we sincerely encourage you to do so, helping to give them nutritional food and stability for the farm. Letting your friends and associates know of this program will be appreciated as well.
