COME SEE WHAT'S GROWING!It's Official, it's Summer on the Farm! We opened the gates last Saturday to Friends of the Farm for our Summer Solstice celebration. The change of season has brought a greater understanding of the commitment to growing with the seasons in harmony with Mother Earth...so many here made comments on the beauty and peacefulness here. What has been carved out of this land now grows the healthiest foods available in San Diego! It truly is astounding! Our Guests (you all) were visited by many Birds and Butterflies along the pathways through the growing beds. One of the highlights of the day was watching sweet little Madeline harvest her 1st Carrot from the earth....She is three.
We will be hosting FARM STAND EVENTS with live Cooking Demonstrations, live Music and Freshly picked Produce - Open to the Public every 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month, 9:30 - 11:30. Mark your Calendars, it's all for you!
