Dear Friends,
Another funny thing, farmers are the ones that produce the food and by a long summer and short fall, by Thanksgiving, we're all exhausted! I gave up years ago preparing and hosting the 'traditional' Thursday meal. And, after we raised these turkeys
(that's my husband Kendall with one on his lap by the back door),
can't abide the smell of it cooking. We've had 2 rescue turkeys over time; they both lived very long lives and both had the name "Miss Tofu".
I certainly applaud the farmer that cares for their animals and treats them with care and comfort to the end.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. We're grateful for the incredible work we do and the clients who share in the product.
