Dear Friends,
Whew..what did you all do to escape the heat we had this week-end? We had planned a big clean-up/weed patrol for Saturday and even on the coast here it was inhumane. I had everyone go home early and now extremely disgruntled that the forecast is for a little rain this week and I resent every drop of water that's going to fall on the dang blasted weeds! One never knows..
A hearty welcome to Kimberly Tomicich, a promising young woman added to our team. She'll be helping with lots of things, including special events, social media, marketing and giving tutorials to this old farmer to try and keep up with things. Hope you get a chance to meet her one of these days. She'll be representing Seabreeze at the Health Fair at the Del Mar Grand this Wednesday..very hoity toity..
Nature has her way of providing us with the foods we need according to season. With shorter days and cooler weather people with weak immune systems become susceptible to colds and flu's. Among seasonal food are pineapple and strawberry guavas and passion fruits..all loaded with high amounts of Vit C to help. If you're not familiar with them (the season is short) here are some links:
