Ever been happy to wake up many times in the night? That's how it was last night..I even tried to will myself to stay awake to listen to the marvelous pitter patter of the rain falling and dripping. The ground and the crops were all moist and fresh this morning as I wandered with my notes to see what to harvest for you all this week. Hope you enjoy everything this week..they are happy crops!
Mother's Day is this coming Sunday and Bob, one of our drivers, has 'volunteered' to deliver flower bouquets on Sunday. These are extra large, bursting with variety and all freshly harvested. Why buy commercial flower bouquets shipped from South America when we grow them right here? French Sorrel is a very special cooking green. Just be sure NOT to cook in an aluminum pan as it will turn dark and yucky...French Sorrel Soup
