I love cooking with garlic and confess that for all the yucky things I've had my hands in on the farm, my pet peeve is garlic skins clinging to my fingers..I've tried all the gismo's on the market and do occasionally use them for fresh garlic but nothing beats the home grown and ground fresh garlic from Machado Farms, a California family farm. We just received a fresh batch and although you may suffer a stroke when you see the price ( marked down a dollar from regular price), trust me, a little goes a long ways and it is so good..it will last you months and months (unless like me, you use it generously). If that's too pricey, we also carry good chopped and dried garlic from Jaffe Brothers, another local business...Garlic and more garlic
