Pittsburgh Seminary to Offer
Doctor of Ministry Parish Focus Program
Beginning in January 2013 in Charleston
Six Steps Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will begin an onsite DMin with a concentration on parish ministry in Charleston in January 2013. The purpose of the Parish Focus is to concentrate on pastoral ministry in the church. We are called to remain faithful in the midst of great change. How are we as pastors to participate in that change while leading? What does not change and why? God has called you to ministry: where is it that you have time, space and opportunity to retool, reflect, and dialogue with both colleagues and professors in subject areas fundamental to mission, spiritual formation, preaching, and pastoral care?

Matthew Smith and Indelible Grace in Concert
Reformed Hymns with New Arrangements
Matthew Smith Join us on October 25th at 7pm in the Johns Island sanctuary for an acoustic concert of Reformed hymns and songs with Matthew Smith and Indelible Grace. We are encouraging others in the community to attend the concert, so arrive early if you want to get a good seat. A love offering will be taken to cover the cost for the concert.

Matthew Smith is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who writes brand new music to centuries-old hymn texts. He is a founding member of the Indelible Grace community, whose work has drawn acclaim across denominational lines and is used in churches around the world. Born out of a college ministry, the re-imagined hymns have found wide acceptance both among college students and the church at large, joining people who desire to honor tradition with those who want a modern musical approach. His latest album, Watch The Rising Day, explores the tension of living in a broken world while awaiting Christ's return and the restoration of all things.
