    Dear Central Community, please mark your calendars: 

  • Wednesday, Nov. 12: Home & School Association meeting. Your talents and ideas are key to our efforts to keep Central exceptional! Special guests from the Counseling Department will present information important to your child's success. President McKenna will give an update and respond to your questions. Meet other families and members of the Executive Board. Freshman families take note: election of 277 Parent Representative will be held. Light refreshments provided. Spain Conference Center, 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 13: Parent volunteers needed in the main office everyday and especially in the afternoons to answer telephones, take messages, sort mail, etc. Help support our educators and keep Central strong. Schedule a time or times at SignUpGenius. 
  • Tuesday, Nov. 18: National Honor Society Induction.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 19: Early dismissal. Professional development for teachers. 12:02 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 20: 274 vs. 275 Powderpuff Football Game. 
  • Friday, Nov. 21: Homecoming. $30 tickets includes buffet dinner, entertainment and photo booth. Romano's, 1523 E. Wingohocking Street, 7 - 11 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 26: Athletic Department Rummage Sale. Tons of apparel and lots of stuff from the 260s, buttons, prom favors, mugs, pins, jerseys, team uniforms, class towels and more! Room 50, 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 
  • Thursday & Friday, Nov. 27 & 28: Thanksgiving Holiday. School closed.
  • Thursday, Nov. 27: Alumni Thanksgiving Day Victory Breakfast. $25 includes a buffet breakfast & a ticket to the Central-Northeast game. Jack's Deli, 8500 Bustleton Ave., 9 a.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 27: Central vs. Northeast annual football game. Dating back to 1892, this is the oldest public high school football rivalry in the United States. Tickets are $10 at gate. Northeast High School, 1601 Cottman Ave., 10 a.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 28: Modell's 15% off coupon is now valid and can be used multiple times. Support the Central baseball team!
  • Tuesday, Dec. 2: Report cards distributed. 
  • Wednesday, Dec. 3: Early dismissal. 12:02 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 3: Parent/Teacher Conferences. 12;30-3p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 4: College Financial Aid Information Meeting. Auditorium, 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 5: Entry deadline for advertisements and "shout-outs" in the Winter Concert Program.
