Communion & EAF 

CommunionThis Sunday, we will celebrate the Lord's Supper. As a part of our offering that morning, we ask you to consider an additional contribution to our Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF).

The EAF is used to assist members of the Crossroads Family who are experiencing a crisis and need financial support. Checks should be made out to "Columbia Crossroads" with "EAF" in the memo line.
 
Missionary Care Packages

Help wish our missionaries around the world a "Merry Christmas!"

A table will be set up at the back of the sanctuary on Sunday November 11 and 18 where you and your family can fill out a Christmas card, give a financial gift, or record a live greeting to wish our missionaries around the world a Merry Christmas.
 
Kid's Crossing Food Drive

To celebrate Thanksgiving this year, join the children of Crossroads as they collect pop-top cans of meat, fruit, and veggies for The Hope Project!

Donations should be dropped off in the Kid's Crossing wing at your local campus by Sunday, November 18.  
Helpers Needed for Kid's Crossing

We are looking for a few more team members to help with Kid's Crossing on Sunday mornings!

Prison Ministry Christmas Party

The Women's Prison Ministry is helping with the Christmas Family Day at the Camille Graham Prison on December 2.   
 
They need  a few inexpensive items listed below: 
  • One used artificial Christmas Tree
  • Ornaments
  • 16 rolls of Duck tape in assorted colors
  • 2 rolls of clear wide packing tape
  • 250 sheets (or a ream!) of Card stock paper
  • 25 Composition Notebook (not loose leaf, the ones with the speckled front)
  • Candy (No gum, no lollipops or anything with stick)

Men's Bible Study 

Join Foster Christy for a men's bible study entitled, "Tender Warriors".  Together you'll learn, ask questions, and grow to become more like the true Tender Warrior - Jesus!

Meetings will be the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7:00-8:00 a.m. in the ISM Room (Equipping Room) of the St. Andrews campus.  Next meeting will be November 7. Contact Foster at fchristy@netscape.com to RSVP or for more details. 
Crossroads' Christmas Service  

It's the most wonderful time of the year - and time to mark your calendars for Crossroads' Christmas Service on Sunday, December 23!

In place of morning services that day, we'll meet at 5:00 p.m. at Seacoast Church located at 500 St Andrews Road for a multi-campus Christmas celebration. Details coming soon! 
Decorate Crossroads for Christmas

Lost & Found

If you haven't done so already, please check the bin in the copy room to collect any missing articles. Anything not collected by November 18 will be donated.    
Walk to End Abortion

Join the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Lake Murray for the "Jingle Bell Walk 4 Life" on December 1, 2012. This is a rain or shine event to raise money to help the center provide abortion alternatives for men, women, and students.

Quilt for a Cause

Join the ladies of Crossroads as they make "Garments of Praise" - quilts that will be donated to a girl's home in India.

They'll be meeting at the St. Andrews Campus on November 11 (1-5 p.m.) and November 17 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) to sew.

You can help by donating supplies, helping set-up, or by sewing (no prior experience required)! Contact Janalee Smith at janaleebsmith@gmail.com for more information.   
Be a Mentor at Seven Oaks

We need more mentors for Seven Oaks Elementary School to reach our goal of 40 mentors! This is a wonderful way to spread the Gospel and invest in the lives of the next generation.

Bible Club at East Point 

In January, we have an outreach opportunity available at East Point Academy, South Carolina's only Chinese Immersion school.   

We need a few more volunteers 
over the age of 15 that would be willing to serve on this team for 6 weeks.
