Be a Mentor at Seven Oaks

We need 26 more mentors for Seven Oaks Elementary School to reach our goal of 40 mentors! This is a wonderful way to spread the Gospel and invest in the lives of the next generation.

Prayer Meeting

PrayerThe Prayer Team will conduct an election day prayer meeting at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, in our Prayer Room.

As we vote, let's beseech the Lord of Glory for His hand and guidance on our nation for the days ahead.

Quilt for a Cause

Are you looking for ways to minister to others overseas? Join the ladies of Crossroads as they make "Garments of Praise" - quilts that will be donated to a girl's home in India.

They'll be meeting at the St. Andrews Campus on November 11 (1-5 p.m.) and November 17 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) to sew.

You can help by donating supplies, helping set-up, or by sewing (no prior experience required)! Contact Janalee Smith at janaleebsmith@gmail.com for more information.
Bible Club at East Point

In January, we have an outreach opportunity available at East Point Academy, South Carolina's only Chinese Immersion school.

There are over 200 students attending from many cultural backgrounds, and we are hoping to start an after-school "Good News Bible Club" through Child Evangelism Fellowship.  We need 9 more volunteers over the age of 15 that would be willing to serve on this team for 6 weeks.

If you are interested and for more information, please contact Allison Shipman at  allison@columbiacrossroads.org.
CMA Missions Opportunities

All grad and undergrad students interested in mission work of the C&MA are invited to the home of Jim and Lisa Lanpher for Pizza  & Soda on October 22 (6:15 p.m.).

For more information or to view a flyer of the event, please click here or contact Lisa Lanpher at llanpher@ciu.edu.
Help Fight Cancer!

Join several Crossroads family members as they work to raise funds for Jeff Austin to receive cancer treatments. Here's how you can participate:
  • Yard Sale: If you are ready to "de-clutter," join us for a yard sale at the St. Andrews Campus on Saturday, November 3! To donate items to sell or to help set up for the event, contact Cathy at cathy@columbiacrossroads.org.
  • Jewelry Collection: Do you have fine or costume jewelry to get rid of? How about that old class ring? A jewelry wholesaler will donate the proceeds of donated jewelry to Jeff's fundraiser. Donations can be dropped off at Cathy's office between now and the end of November.

For more information, check out  www.jeffsbeatscancer.weebly.com for updates on Jeff's progress and to see how else you can get involved!
