topGreetings!

I'm settling in to beautiful spring weather and lots of play, nature and art with Martin and my precious grandchildren here in Evanston, Illinois. We are just 15 minutes from all the wonders of downtown Chicago! I hope you and your family are enjoying wonderful summer plans as well!

Now that I have time to rest and review this 20th anniversary year, I both smile and sigh at the challenges, incredible joys and growth that we have experienced. What an amazing ride we have taken together! And there is so much more peeking around the corner! Thanks to all of you, we are looking forward to a dynamic future where the seeds of the last 20 years will take root, reaching out to meet the growing needs of many more children and families.

Make sure to stay in touch over the break! Even though there are no summer classes, you can still find your Sunflower friends and family at  Meetup group play dates, on Facebook and on our blog. Happy Summer!

20th Anniversary Concert - Thanks friends!
Thank you to everyone who attended Sunflower's 20th Anniversary Concert on May 4, to all those who bought raffle tickets, CDs and other merchandise- and to everyone who supported us from afar with donations and love. Through your contributions, we raised over $3,600 for Sunflower's play, nature and arts programs. What a way to celebrate our 20th Anniversary!

Make your voice heard
We recently sent out email surveys to all participants in our 2012-13 classes. If you have not done so already, please take a couple of minutes to give us your feedback. We use the information you provide in these anonymous surveys to make improvements for next year's classes. Thank you for your time!
