One of our all time favourites........

ALIGRA'S SEASONAL MULLED WINE

1 bottle Gluhwein (seasonally available in the store)or bottle of red wine
� cup (50 ml) raw sugar or honey
� cup (125 ml) brandy (optional)
1 Aligra Mulling Spice Bag*

Simmer the brew in a slow cooker or on the stove on low. Do not boil.

When warmed through, ladle in to mugs or glasses and stir with a cinnamon stick!

*make with pieces of Mandarin orange peel, broken cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves - put all into a clean knee high stocking (seriously!!) or a large square of cheesecloth. Tie it up with string and place into your simmering brew on the stove.
