The  2015 Capital Campaign Survey is now OPEN!

Each spring GivingMatters.com releases a Capital Campaign Report to Middle Tennessee funders, which provides information about current and anticipated nonprofit Capital Campaigns to those who may be interested in supporting your efforts.

The data for this important resource comes from your responses to our annual Capital Campaign Survey. This short survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. Even if your organization is not currently planning a capital campaign, please respond to ensure the most accurate data possible. Please submit only one response per nonprofit organization.

*Each organization completing the survey will be entered to win a
Charitable Giving Card, redeemable to your nonprofit!*

Before beginning, please have the following information on-hand:
  • If currently involved in a campaign: campaign description, financial goal, amount raised-to-date, and start/end dates
  • If planning a future campaign: tentative start date
  • If a campaign was completed in 2014: total amount raised

THE DEADLINE FOR COMPLETING THIS SURVEY IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20!

Have questions about this report or why you should participate? Give us a call at (615) 321-4939, or email givingmatters@cfmt.org.

Next GuideStar Data Transfer: February 25!

As part of GivingMatters.com's partnership with GuideStar.org, the two websites "share" data several times each year. This process is intended to save Middle Tennessee nonprofits time and effort by eliminating the need for organizations to regularly update multiple profiles.

The next Data Transfer is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25. If you want updated information from your profile to transfer to GuideStar,  submit changes to GivingMatters.com by Friday, Feb. 13. If you miss this deadline, don't worry - your information will transfer next quarter.

Only GivingMatters.com profiles meeting these criteria will be included:

  • Organizations must have unique EINs (not shared with a fiscal agent, parent organization, etc.);
  • Profiles must be complete and publicly viewable;
  • Profiles must have current expiration dates (have not passed their expiration date);
  • Profiles must have been updated since the most recent data transfer (those updated prior to that time would have been included in the last transfer)

If you do NOT want your profile information to be part of this data transfer, please notify us ASAP at givingmatters@cfmt.org.
