If you are visiting Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda this year, we wanted to let you know about this recent CDC alert regarding a small number of polio cases in Kenya. The cases were reported in the far North of Kenya, primarily in refugee camps (not an area that travelers typically visit). Regardless of destination within these countries, the CDC is recommending visitors get updates to their polio vaccines. Please contact your local travel clinic or doctor for further information.
We are partnering with the Namibia Tourism Board to give away a trip to Namibia! Visit our Facebook page to learn more about your chance to win a 'Landscape Escape' to Namibia. Hurry - time is running out for your chance to win!

June 2013
Greetings!
The year has been whizzing by and suddenly school is out. How did that happen so quickly? Your summer vacation plans aren't set yet; surely it's too late to plan a family safari to Africa? Guess again! A family safari is the perfect escape - from work, school, technology and crazy schedules. Grab the people you love the most and escape into the wilds of nature. We still have space available for summer travel and can take care of all of the planning for you. If you choose to visit South Africa, you and your kids can enjoy the bush, the beach and the city all within its borders. It's the ideal family destination for all ages - it has something for everyone, and many areas are malaria-free. We can even add some special activities to your trip like a farm village visit, family cycling to Cape Point, a visit to a cheetah sanctuary or an ocean safari - just ask and we can make it happen. I've taken my own kids to Africa several times, and the joy of sharing one of my most important places with them is something I will always treasure. Watching them discover wildlife, culture and the beauty Africa has to offer has made this continent even more special to me. I hope you get to share Africa with the ones you love as well.
Safari njema,
