November 2012
Greetings!
Africa Adventure Consultants is pleased to announce our 'Monkey See, Monkey Do' South African Family Safari contest! Families wishing to enter to win a South African safari can submit a short video of a family member imitating a favorite South African animal for a chance at the grand prize. Click here to enter. The contest is sponsored by Africa Adventure Consultants, South African Tourism and South African Airways.
The top 25 video entries selected by online voting will be available for viewing Feb 1-8, 2013, and a panel of judges will determine the grand prize winner based on video quality, creativity and humor. The grand prize safari winner will be announced on or about Feb 15, 2013.
The 'Monkey See, Monkey Do' grand prize is a 10-day family safari for four (two adults and two children <12) to South Africa and includes airfare from JFK or IAD on South African Airways, deluxe lodgings, and meals.
The itinerary includes a stay at Cape Town's Radison Blu Hotel Waterfront with family-friendly city tours, a Table Mountain cable car excursion, a visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium and a township visit. Winners will then have two days at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve including beach fun, treasure hunts
and horseback rides, caving and nature hikes, and penguin viewing and whale watching (seasonal). Guests will finish at Etali Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve for game drives and the chance to see African wildlife such as lions, elephants and giraffes up close.
Families can also learn about South Africa's diverse wildlife and culture and win prizes in our Monkey See, Monkey Do weekly sweepstakes quiz, with family-friendly South African-themed prizes like wildlife DVDs, CDs and books.
AAC is also pleased to present three special South African family safari itineraries created in concert with our contest. We have a Gold, Silver and Bronze level safaris filled with family-friendly lodging and activities.
Families can enter the 'Monkey See, Monkey Do' safari contest on the Africa Adventure Consultants website or on AAC's Facebook page.
