November 2012
Greetings!
By the time you read this, I will be in Morocco cruising the alleyways of the medina in Fes, while Kim and Jenny will be returning from their trips to Tanzania. We make it our mission to stay up-to-date with everything going on in Africa, primarily by traveling several times throughout the year. During our exciting travels we always make new discoveries, whether it be a local food we've not yet tasted, an animal or insect we have not seen before or a sighting that knocks our socks off (we can't wait to see Kim and Jenny's full trip reports, as we hear there were definitely some new experiences on their trips!). That sense of discovery is at the root of the magic of travel and we are always craving it.
If you're hankering to get out and make some discoveries of your own, you might like this next news. We are thrilled to announce our 'Monkey See Monkey Do' South African family safari contest. It's your chance to get creative with your kids and produce a short video for your shot at an amazing South African family safari for 4. See the article below for details.
We look forward to sending you on your next great adventure and giving you the chance to make your own discoveries.
Safari njema,

Celebrating Tanzania's Best
Tanzania celebrated 50 years of independence in December 2011. To recognize this milestone, we are highlighting a special Tanzania itinerary every month in 2012 - not only that, we've spent a lot of days in the country this year! We'd be fibbing if we didn't tell you that it's one of our favorite places on Earth.

Discover majestic beauty and incredible concentrations of wildlife on our superb 'Tanzania Ultimate' safari. Du ring your ten days in Tanzania, you'll visit famous reserves including the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, as well as Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks. The latter is home to the great wildebeest migration during most of the year. You'll stay in spacious and beautifully designed tented camps located in exclusive locations away from the large concentrations of tourists. In each special camp or lodge, you'll enjoy delicious food, hot showers, campfires and more before your final, scenic flight back to Arusha.
If you'd like to learn more about this safari, or want to know what specials are available, give us a call.

Did You Know?
Did you know that by just 8 months old cheetah cubs will begin to hunt and make their own kills? (Leopard cubs take at least 11 months, and lion cubs even longer).
