Meetings with state legislators will be scheduled in advance. Due to the expected turnout, not every participant will be scheduled to attend a meeting, but there will be other opportunities to engage in advocacy and learn about the legislative process. If you have a meeting, you will be contacted in advance with the time. (Please note meeting times can change.) The meetings will be a chance for refugees and friends of refugees to encourage legislators to support New Kentuckians.
This event is organized by Catholic Charities of Louisville, divisions of Kentucky Office for Refugees and Migration and Refugee Services; Kentucky Refugee Ministries; Americana Community Center and International Center of Kentucky with support by several organizations.
