Theme: Hope for Haiti
Guest Speaker:
Dr. Everett McCorvey
Dr. McCorvey will speak on his mission trips to Haiti, which will be interesting, informative and provide us with "hands-on" knowledge of missions outside our own country.
Dr. McCorvey is a tenor soloist, conductor, and professor of voice at the University of Kentucky. He is the founder and music director of the american Spiritual Ensemble, the director and executive producer of University of Kentucky Opera Theatre, and president of Global Creative Connections.
Registration and Fellowship begin at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by lunch. The cost is $12.

 The Presbyterian Church of Danville will be hosting its 14th Godly PlayŽ Core Training on Thursday, April 7 - 9, 2016.Surprisingly enough, there are already 16 people from Kentucky and elsewhere who have registered to attend this training! - but there is always room for more! Godly PlayŽ is a Montessori based Christian Education program. If you are interested in learning, not only about what Godly PlayŽ is and experience and practice the storytelling as told by and led by National Accredited Trainer, Lois Howard, there is still time to register. Just go to godlyplayfoundation.org, click on TRAINING, then to US TRAININGS and scroll down past the calendar to the SOUTHEAST REGION and you will find this training listed along with the REGISTRATION BROCHURE.

If you feel called to plant a church, this power-packed weekend is designed to help you discern your potential as you walk with others who are also exploring the call. We will introduce youth the basics of church planting, give you tools to discover your unique gifts and talents for ministry, and walk you through a pre-assessment.

This weekend will be during our annual Work Day so we will incorporate a Service Project at Burnamwood as part of Saturday's activities. Open House is on Sunday with a Worship Service and Lunch (The Meal). Attendees can eat on Sunday at no cost.
