Message From Our

 Executive Director

Whether you are a WBA member or not, our organization is here to ensure that, as a business owner, you are treated fairly by our city government agencies.

If any member would like to schedule a visit from me to discuss any concerns you may have, please call the office.

I believe there is no other organization in Woburn or the surrounding area that dedicates the time and interest in our business community than the Woburn Business Association.

In closing, I would like to wish all members and their families a happy and safe summer season.

 Michael Meaney

Executive Director

Please Note

This will be the last eNEWS for the summer, since we do not publish in July and August.

Our next email will be sent in September, along with information regarding upcoming Network Gatherings and future events.

We hope you and your family have a safe and happy summer.

Crowne Plaza's Block Party and Trivia Contest benefiting "One Fund Boston," raised close to $10,000 which was donated to Boston's ongoing fund.

The evening was filled with contests, live bands, a cafe cookout along with food and beverage concessions.

The Crowne Plaza was the venue for a "think tank" type of breakfast meeting held recently regarding the current and future status of transportation issues in Woburn.

Among the topics discussed were the under-utilization of the Anderson Regional Transportation Center; the lack of adequate parking for commuters; and the New Boston Street Bridge connecting Woburn and Wilmington.
