Message From Our

 Executive Director

At the last City Council meeting, I spoke in favor of Olsen Cadillac and Lawless Chrysler to have satelite parking for their businesses. Both requests passed.

I am pleased to report that the past 16 months has seen an increase of 59 new members who have joined our association.

As I have mentioned previously, I believe there is no other organization in Woburn or the surrounding area that dedicates the time and interest in our business community than the Woburn Business Association.

Invoice reminders have been mailed for outstanding 2013 dues. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your dues, please do not hesitate to call me at the office.

In closing, I would like to remind members that I am always available to listen to your concerns. If you have any questions regarding your business, please do not hesitate to call me. We appreciate your membership and value any input you may have.

Dear Woburn Business Association Members,

You are cordially invited to "Lights! Camera! EMARC! A night to Honor Mr. Richard "Dick" Haggerty of Woburn as EMARC's 2013 Community Service Award Recipient.  Mr. Haggerty is being recognized for his years of generosity to EMARC and to the developmental disability community for his years of service and volunteerism.  Woburn has served as Dick's life-long home, so we are hoping that we can get some of his supporters to attend this event for him.

We understand that this event may conflict with other events.  Some members expressed interest in attending the pre-show reception and Award ceremony.  ***We need to get a head-count for those who are interested in this portion of the evening before we can quote a price.  I believe it will be around $25.  I need to get approval from the Stoneham Theater (to be in compliance with fire codes, etc.) before we can okay this.   So if you could please let me know if you are interested ASAP, that is greatly appreciated.
