Hot off the press this morning, the summary report of year one of Wisconsin's early teal season experiment has been released.  This is a fairly quick and interesting read, and offers great insight into this inaugural hunting season.

WI DNR Releases 2014 Early Teal Season Summary Report


 

From the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources: A summary of the 2014 early teal season is available and has been posted to our webpage. You can access the summary by searching the department's website using the keyword "waterfowl" or by visiting this link  http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/hunt/documents/TealSummary.pdf.   

 

This summary provides a general breakdown of how the first season of the three year experiment went, as well as observations and comments from staff and hunters around the state.
