Doktor Kaboom! will bring scientific comedy to life with his new show, "Live Wire! The Electricity Tour," at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 24 in Hoover Auditorium.
This interactive, one-man performance features the fascinating power of electricity, as well as theatrics and scientific explosions.
The show was created in 2006 by actor and comedian David Epley, who plays Doktor Kaboom!
Epley became interested in science at a young age and had hopes to pursue it in school, but he took the unexpected, artistic route of acting and later created the famous character, Doktor Kaboom!
Doktor Kaboom! is a wild German physicist with a thirst for scientific knowledge. His wacky persona and outrageous laboratory attire keeps both children and adults laughing and learning.
