Spend the Entire 2015 Summer Season at Lakeside by Purchasing a Season Pass  

The 2015 Chautauqua season is about to begin and is full of enriching worship services, inspiring cultural arts performances, intellectual seminars and recreational opportunities.

 

At a discounted rate of $640, guests can purchase a Chautauqua Season Pass on or before May 31. Season Auto Passes are available at a discounted rate of $145 on or before May 31. Children under the age of 12 and guests over the age of 90 are always free, but require complimentary passes, which are available upon entering Lakeside Chautauqua.

 

For Season Chautauqua Pass orders received on or after June 1, the price will be $675. For Season Auto Pass orders received on or after June 1, the price will be $165.

 

You are invited to purchase passes online. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing. You may also complete and return the Chautauqua Pass Order Form by mail, or while on the grounds, visit the Hoover Ticket Office.

Community Potluck Luncheon and "State of Lakeside" Address    

At 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, Lakeside invites friends, neighbors and staff to gather for Community Potluck Luncheon and "State of Lakeside" Presentation

       

Chef Melissa Rush from Otterbein North Shore Senior Lifestyle Community will provide the main dish. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share. During the Community Potluck Luncheon, the 2015 Lakeside Leadership Academy Interns will be introduced.    

 

Immediately following the luncheon at 1:15 p.m., Lakeside Chautauqua President/CEO Kevin Sibbring will meet with Lakesiders, give an overview of the past year, provide an update on the Hotel Lakeside Project and Endowment for Life Initiative, discuss capital projects scheduled to be completed, and highlight the 2015 Chautauqua summer programs.  

 

The Community Potluck Luncheon and "State of Lakeside" Address will take place in Wesley Lodge.

Hotel Lakeside & Fountain Inn Rooms Starting at $99 for May 29-31 Weekend

Guests enjoy the signature program at a reduced admissions rate.  Lakeside Chautauqua is now offering a low rate, starting at $99, on overnight stays at the Hotel Lakeside and Fountain Inn. Guests can book accommodations online.  

 

With three easy steps, guests can break away and participate in the enriching and inspiring weekend.  

  1. Review the full  Calendar of Events to find your interests and favorite programs.
  2. Compare different lodging options and book your overnight Accommodations.
  3. Purchase Chautauqua Passes online or by mail. Passes are also available upon arrival.

Special Preview Movie Screening May 15 and May 16   

Lakeside Chautauqua will offer a special preview movie screening of "Into the Woods," staring Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15 in Orchestra Hall.     

 

 

On Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m., Lakeside will offer a second preview movie screening of "The Imitation Game," starring Benedict Cumberbatch.    

 

There is no Chautauqua Pass admissions fee to enter Lakeside for the movie screening. Guests are invited to give a $5 donation per person for adults and youth.  

 

After viewing "Into the Woods" and "The Imitation Game," The Rev. Bruce Batchelor-Glador will lead a post-show discussion in Orchestra Hall.

 

The Rev. Batchelor-Glador is a life-long movie fan and has done reviews for the East Ohio Conference in print and social media for more than 21 years. Individuals can read his movie reviews on "Message in Movies." He currently serves at Trinity United Methodist Church in Port Clinton, Ohio.
