It's tax season and time for a reminder about saving taxes and time. OTs, PTs, MDs and RNs can provide a prescription to an individual so that he or she doesn't pay the taxes on the purchase or rental of a lift chair.

Straight Lift Option: Most lift chairs operate with a power lift that gently tilts the chair forward on the lift. The tilt occurs closer to the top of the lift. All lift chairs have infinite adjustment in the hand control meaning that the lift and recline can be stopped at any time just by removing pressure from the hand control.
Golden offers 21 lift chairs where this option is already built into these chairs. There are 2 pins that need to be moved for the chair to be converted to a straight lift. SelfCare is an authorized Golden dealer and our technicians can make this change to Golden lift chairs.
Not Sure about a Lift Chair - Rent it
We have a wide range of rental lift chairs in both 2 and 3 positions. While we can't guarantee a colour choice for a rental, we do try our best to find a rental that meets our customer's needs and décor. Rental lift chairs require purchase of a non-slip fabric chair pad for $19.95. With a prescription from an OT, PT, MD, or RN, there are no taxes on the rental.
