New temporary measures were implemented on November 5, 2014 to return funding to refugees or other types of new immigrants through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). Depending on the "type" of individual, there is coverage for medical services, medical equipment purchases or rentals and other health care services. SelfCare has just filed for our first approval request under this program. Authorizations may take up to 10 days, so we are still waiting for approval.
