We hope you are wearing pink while reading our newsletter today. It is a simple yet incredibly effective way to show the community that you don't support bullying.

 

Power wheelchairs are the highlight in this newsletter. SelfCare has some new models to show you. Let us know when we can drop by or when you can drop in.

For all those on the North Shore, we have some news, and an invitation. Trudy is going to be moving to the new Surrey store, and Janet is moving into Trudy's shoes in North Vancouver. Drop by for LUNCH on April 18th for her send off.

TDX4 The power wheelchair market has seen a number of new products including the Bantam, MDX6 and Quickie QM-710.

An important role we play is giving therapists the opportunity to see similar products from different manufacturers at the same time.

Call your SelfCare Seating & Mobility consultant or email Kim Mackie to set up an inservice with these new products.

Each newsletter we will provide a short detail about a bariatric product we stock. Grab Bar Order Form

grab bar strainless steel While our standard stainless steel knurled grab bars are the most popular choice, we now have a selection of "décor" grab bars to coordinate with the bathroom fixtures.

These new bars have grooved grips on the underside of the bars. We like the Astral as a great towel bar replacement!

Good Luck to Trudy in Surrey

Trudy Jennings Trudy has been a consistent, knowledgeable and important person in the North Shore store since February 9, 2000.

This Spring, Trudy will be moving to Surrey to manage the Surrey store as it moves to a new location with a new, large showroom.

We wouldn't want to make this change without giving the North Shore health care professionals who have worked with Trudy the opportunity to wish her well.

Join us for lunch!

Date: Thursday, April 18th
Location: North Shore SelfCare store, 1340 Pemberton Ave
Format: Lunch if you can make it or just stop by any time in the afternoon - let Janet know if you can make it (send in the RSVP or simply email her)
