·         Dancer check-in table (2 per show) - NEEDED FOR SHOW 3 (3:30-4:15pm/done by showtime)

·         Seat check-in (2 per show) - NEEDED FOR SHOW 3 (Only need to be there between 3:30/done by show time)

·         Ushers (2 per show) - NEED 1 more helper for Show 1 and Show 3 (Done by showtime!)

DRESS REHEARSAL ASSEMBLIES COMING UP!!

Dress rehearsal week will take place immediately following the Thanksgiving week break and Dress Rehearsal Assemblies start on Tuesday, 12/2 and take place during school hours as follows:

·         Show 3: Dress Rehearsal is Tuesday 12/2 @ 10 am in the MUR

·         Show 2: Dress Rehearsal is Thursday 12/4 @ 10 am in the MUR

·         Show 1: Dress Rehearsal is Friday 12/5 @ 10 am in the MUR

IMPORTANT: All performers must be dressed in their BASIC costume clothing (make-up is not necessary) when attending school that day. Please refer to the Required Costume information (links below) posted on the website at www.strandwoodpta.org/nutcracker. You can also find the info posted outside your child's classroom and on the Nutcracker board outside of the MUR.

Seats for the Dress Rehearsals are very limited; they are set up in the back of the MUR for grandparents and/or other family members that can attend the dress rehearsal but cannot attend the actual Performance Day show on 12/6.

COSTUMES

Please see attached documents for Costume Information based on what Grade / Dance your child is in:

These documents will be posted outside of the MUR, outside classrooms and on the Strandwood PTA website.

Remember that all performers are required to wear BASIC COSTUMES for Dress Rehearsals scheduled to take place during school hours (10am) on 12/2, 12/4 & 12/5. Performers attend ONE Dress Rehearsal and ONE Show.

Costumes should be secured prior to Dress Rehearsals. If you are having trouble getting costume clothes/shoes, please contact the Nutcracker Closet Coordinator to see what is available through the Nutcracker Closet. Don't procrastinate! Costumes and materials run out fast and are given on a first come first served basis.

SEATING POLICY

Each individual performer will receive two seats for their designated show.  (Example: if you family has one child performing in a show, then you will receive two seats. If your family has two children performing in the same show, you will receive (4) seats for that particular show). Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each show time. Seating is first come, first served. For safety reasons, we will have a check-in list. If you need additional seats please contact us at nutcrackerseats@strandwoodpta.org. We will do our best to accommodate your request but there are no guarantees due to Fire Code limitations. Please note that parents do start lining up for the show up to 60 minutes prior, so plan accordingly.
