Every week Email Club members receive important information regarding upcoming events and communications from The PTA and Strandwood staff via the Roadrunner. The Roadrunner also provides links to important fliers and new items on the PTA and school websites. We Need Cakes!

We are in need of cakes for the Cake Walk this Friday at Fall Fest. We need about 100 cakes for this to be a successful event. If you don't have time to make a cake, don't worry! We will be happy to take a store-bought cake.


 

Cakes need to be dropped off to the MUR on 10/24 (day of Fall Fest) between 2:30 and 4 pm. Please email Blanca Nelson at bnlnelson@hotmail.com if you cannot drop off your cake during the designated time and would like to make alternate arrangements. 


 

The cake walk also needs volunteers to help distribute cakes, check kids' cakes in and keep the cake walk line moving. Please consider volunteering for 45 minutes! Sign up HERE!


 

 Fall Fundraiser Continues Online

There's still time to get in your fall fundraiser orders! 


Our Believe fall fundraiser will be open online through the month of October! Students' prizes will be tracked online and distributed accordingly. Go HERE to shop online. 
5th Grade Outdoor Ed in Need of Counselors

Our fifth grade students are going to Sempervirens Outdoor School from Monday, November 3 - Friday, November 7th. The camp is looking for some responsible high school students who enjoy working with kids and are interested in being counselors for the week. Please contact lauren@exploringnewhorizons.org if you are interested! 

Strandwood Spiritwear Now Online!!

These items will be available between now and November 30th, at which time this "store" will be closed.

We are planning on having multiple online stores this year, with different items depending on the season. So, get your winter spiritwear now and it will be delivered to you mid-December!

Book Fair Starts Friday!
Book Fair is coming in October and we are seeking volunteers. We can't do this without you! This is an event that brings to school a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. The more kids practice reading, the better they'll get.  If you can help us in the library during the fair, please sign up for an available time slot by clicking here: HERE.
